Photobooth! Come get a professional headshot for your Handshake and LinkedIn profiles (In person only)
Open to all MassArt students and entry-level job seekers.

MassArt's Creative Career Networking Fair
About the event
Please join us for our virtual CREATIVE CAREER NETWORKING FAIR which will bring over 20 creative employers virtually to MassArt via the Handshake platform:
Learn about different creative companies, organizations offering potential internships and entry level job opportunities
Talk to creative professionals and build relationships that may lead to future opportunities
Get advice on the experience and skills they look for
Optional: Get professional feedback on your student portfolios/samples of work
Various types of sessions will be offered:
Group Presentation (30 minutes): The employer will offer a brief presentation followed by a Q&A.
1:1 Session: Informational Interview (10 or 20 minutes): A casual conversation with someone working in a field or role that you are curious about. Come with some prepared questions!
1:1 Session: Portfolio Review (20 or 30 minutes): Share 5-10 samples of your work to get feedback from an employer based on what they typically look for in their industry.
This networking event may lead to future internship and job opportunities- helpful if you are thinking of doing an internship in summer or graduating in 2026.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a live, interactive virtual event which must be attended in real time; it will not be recorded.
How to Participate:
Register for the event
Sign Up for Employer Sessions: On the event page select "Available Sessions”and select One-on-one or Group sessions.
View the “Your Schedule” tab to review your session times. You only need to go to the sessions you signed up for, not for the full event.
Cancel if you change your mind. The employer is expecting to meet you if you signed up for a session! Do not ghost them, it is unprofessional.
How to Join the Video Session: On the day of the event, go to your schedule on the Handshake event. The “Join Video” option will go live 5 minutes before the start of the session. Make sure you have pop-ups enabled in your browser so the video can pop-up!
Tips:
Sessions are first-come-first serve. Pay attention to updates and check back often.
Plan to attend at least 2 or 3 (or more) employer sessions
Before you sign up for employer sessions, review the employer info.
Not all employers will offer Portfolio review sessions- check the employer info for their preferences.
