RESUME SURVIVOR: Apply - Interview - Get Hired

This is a must-attend session if you plan on applying for student employment, internships, or jobs! Resumes are required for the majority of opportunities you will apply for as a student. In this lively, interactive session based on the hit game show “SURVIVOR,” learn how to tell your story effectively, connect your skills and experience to prospective opportunities and understand what goes on behind the scenes during the hiring process.


In this workshop, you will learn what employers look for while participating in an exercise where the tables are turned! You get to be the "recruiter" and review resumes to select who you want to interview. You will also learn about:

Job Resumes vs. Artist Resumes or CV
What should be included on different types of resumes
How to tell your story and tailor your resume for the role
Resume format and design
