Plan to arrive at 101 Palace Rd (Outside MassArt and MCPHS) at 9:45am. The bus leaves at 10am and returns to Boston at 3:30pm.

- Each student can reserve two seats, but you will need the campus ID and campus email for any other COF students you are reserving a seat for.

Craft Night

Meet President Mary K. Grant, Provost Brenda Molife, Vice President of Student Success and Enrollment Management Corey Zink, and your Orientation Primer team to kick off the day.

We'll also be doing the traditional ringing of the Longwood Bell that each class rings when they start orientation, and rings at commencement.

Students will be dismissed from the previous session into small groups by color to meet and learn about each other through fun activities.

This Transfer Orientation track is intended for students transferring directly into their major and not attending the full New Student Orientation program.

Students transferring into the Studio Foundation department are recommended to attend the full New Student Orientation program instead of the transfer track.

Transfers going directly into their major are very welcome to participate in the full New Student Orientation program, but can just attend Transfer Orientation if they prefer that route.

Meet the International Education Center team, and each other

Transferring schools and credits can be a bit complicated. Meet the Academic Resource Center team and the Registrar's office, and ask any questions you may have!

Meet staff from these departments and get your questions answered!

Orientation Primers (some of whom are transfer students themselves) host a Q&A, without staff or faculty in the room, so you can get the honest answers you're looking for from a perspective that matters to you.

Primers will lead a campus tour, or help folks find their classes. This session is absolutely optional!

Join a small group of Primers on a trip to the Boston Commons and Public Garden, and see the The Embrace memorial honoring Dr. Martin Luther King & Coretta Scott King. MBTA fare provided!

No staff or faculty allowed! Learn about life at MassArt directly from students with no worries about

Nervous about making friends at MassArt? The Primers will be running a speed friending event to help folks make new friends!

We'll be taking small groups to Target and Blick for last minute shopping needs, and the Colleges of the Fenway campuses to familiarize folks with our partner schools.

There are a ton of events you can attend and organizations you can join at the COF schools. It's good to know where you're going beforehand!

A program run by the Orientation Primers to help our new community members get to know each other on a more deep level, and to have important conversations about what it means to be a part of the MassArt community.

Following the Common Links program, color groups will get together with their Primers to create a quilt square that will be included in the Incoming Class of 2024 Quilt!

Permanent markers have been included in your orientation bags for this purpose. Make sure to have them on hand!

An optional time to meet back up with your Primer group, ask any questions you may have about Orientation or the start of the academic year, and talk with your new peers.
